Shopify Expert – Website
Development, UI/UX & Conversion Optimisation
We are looking for a highly
skilled Shopify Expert who can independently develop, design, optimise, and
manage a premium Shopify website along with associated marketing and conversion
initiatives.
The ideal candidate should
have strong experience in Shopify development, advanced UI/UX implementation,
conversion optimisation, automation, SEO, and performance-focused design
improvements. This is a hands-on role requiring both technical expertise and
marketing-oriented thinking.

Independently build and develop
a premium Shopify website from scratch
·
Create premium
conversion-focused UI/UX designs
·
Develop advanced custom
functionality sections
·
Build high-converting and
conversion-optimised landing/product pages
·
Implement advanced animated
sections and interactive design elements
·
Ensure clean, scalable, and
responsive Shopify architecture
·
Perform advanced mobile
optimisation for higher conversion rates
·
Conduct UX flow testing and
continuous optimisation
·
Improve customer journey and
checkout experience
·
Implement heatmap and user
behaviour analytics tools
·
Suggest and implement CRO
(Conversion Rate Optimisation) strategies
·
Handle additional design
revisions and improvements as needed
·
Upload and manage products on
Shopify
·
Perform SEO + GEO optimisation
for product pages
·
Optimise metadata, product
structure, and collection hierarchy
·
Professionally optimise product
images including:
o
Compression for fast loading
o
Proper alt tags
o
Web performance optimisation
·
Setup newsletter integrations
·
Configure automated email flows
and customer journeys
·
Integrate and configure
relevant Shopify apps
·
Setup blog structure and
optimise blogs with backlink strategies
·
Assist with ongoing digital
marketing initiatives related to the website
·
Strong experience with Shopify
theme development and customisation
·
Proficiency in Liquid, HTML,
CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify ecosystem
·
Proven experience in
conversion-focused UI/UX design
·
Experience with Shopify apps,
integrations, and automation tools
·
Strong understanding of CRO,
SEO, GEO, and mobile optimisation
·
Familiarity with analytics
tools, heatmaps, and user behaviour tracking
·
Professional product image
optimization (compression + alt tags)
·
Experience with Klaviyo,
Mailchimp, or similar email marketing platforms preferred
·
Strong attention to detail and
ability to work independently
·
Previous experience building
premium eCommerce brands
·
Understanding of performance
optimisation and Core Web Vitals
·
Portfolio showcasing
high-converting Shopify stores
·
Knowledge of advanced
animations and interactive web experiences
·
Someone proactive who can
independently manage projects
·
Strong problem-solving and
communication skills
·
Ability to suggest improvements
rather than only follow instructions
·
A balance of technical
capability and marketing understanding
