25 years in financial services. I started as a probationary officer at a nationalised bank in Kerala, worked my way through credit analysis, moved to a Big Four audit firm, and eventually led the finance hiring vertical at a staffing company. At Jobdha, I head the Finance & Analytics practice — reviewing reports for accountants, auditors, chartered accountants, financial analysts, tax consultants, and business analysts. I track how GST, digital banking, and fintech have reshaped who gets hired in finance departments across India. I still play chess competitively — rated around 1800 — and I contribute articles to a couple of financial journals.
